I thoroughly enjoyed the Ukulele Festival 2010 and give thanks to the organisers for for all the hard work and for such a Wonderful Successful Day!.
I play for a group called "Tahini Jam"
The reception received from alot of our peers was tremendous.
Each group brings so much energy and vitality to the forum and inspires us all to do so well.It certainly gives us all a another boost of energy to continue to try and reach our full potential.Thank you for being a wonderful vehicle to channel that - so we too can enjoy playing and singing along with our much loved Ukuleles.
The buzz we received from the Audience was fantastic!! too!! That in its self brought our group a lot of joy as we felt that we achieved what we have always aimed to do which is to be happy and generate a feeling of happiness to those we play to.
In the present economical climate and with so much sadness of late and tragedies that is happening in NZ, we like to feel we can bring a bit of joy and happiness into peoples' lives even if it is just a mere momment.
As it is said "Life is not necessarily measured on how many breathes we take but on the momments that take our breathe away"Anon
Much Alofas and Many Thanks Again! Cheers Etta Gillon
